This picture is the very first one sent from Poland by relatives who are the family of Stanislaw Lassa.Stanislaw Lassa and his sister, Anna (Lassa) Placzek, were born in the 1870's, near Komorowo/Wilhelmseichen, Poland.
Anna married Constantine Placzek in 1901 and immigrated to the United States in 1906. Our family in the United States, have been searching for information to find our family in Poland for many years.
This February 2009, we found the family of Leon Lassa's son, Zbigniew Lassa.
Leon Lassa, is pictured, far right.
This is our first picture from their family and we're very excited to share this with everyone who visits our blog.
Stanislaw Lassa's first wife, Katarzyna, died and he remarried Wladyslawa (last name unknown).
We obtained this picture from Stanislaw Lassa's, great great grand-daughter, Anna Lassa. Her mother, Henryka Lassa, sent this picture to her and I am posting this on our family website for everyone to see.
Anna is living in the city of Poznan, Poland and her parents, Zbigniew and Henryka Lassa, live in Bydgoszcz, Poland. (Zbigniew Lassa, is the son of Leon Lassa.)
